Dr. Antonios Panagiotakis started his journey to Coastal Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Biology major at Queens College CUNY. He then earned his medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine at New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, NY. Residency training was completed at the Stamford Hospital Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons program. He served as administrative chief resident in his senior year. He continues his academic interests by training the current resident team at Stamford Hospital and serves on the resident clinical competency committee. He serves as a member of the Gynecology surgery committee. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He also is a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Antonios has special interests in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, chronic pelvic pain, and endometriosis. Dr. Antonios (as he is commonly called as his long Greek last name is tough for most) enjoys travel, the great outdoors and spending quality time with his wife and children. He has been a proud member of our team since 2012.
